I am an academic lawyer with prior experience in legal practice. I qualified in New York and later worked in the City of London.

 

Currently, I'm an Assistant Professor at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society and a Research Coordinator at the Tilburg Law and Economics Center at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.

In my research, I examine various issues related to the design, function, interpretation and enforcement of contracts in regulated sectors, particuarly in the financial sector. Some of the research questions I have been or am currently looking at include:

• How does contract standardization impact competition corporate loan markets?

• How should judges interpret regulatory contracts in derivatives markets?

• How should macroeconomic conditions impact contract enforcement?
